AAW is growing fast ~! Over 500 members now~!!!

Since AAW is growing rapidly and we want to be able to display every members favorite works, Ning Websites have set photo loading limits per site to 5000 images...

AAW is a partial solution as it will eventually reach the 5000 mark as well.

The BEST SOLUTION is for each one of us to open our own "create your own social network' site as a HOME PAGE ! THEN EACH OF US CAN STORE 5000 PICTURES AND share them by SLIDESHOW on our MyPages for any Ning we belong to~

HTTP://AVEHURLEYILLUSTRATIONS.NING.COM and you can duplicate it and later join the other sites listed there and each time only copy and paste from your main ning homepage.... I can help you .. it is easy..

Then our AAW membership can really grow, as there are no limits on membership~

This site has been set up for 'overflow' where you can transfer your excess images for viewing and storage.This is meant to meet the growing needs we share.

For those artists and photographers who have large galleries to share, we recommend making a private ning network with your name that you can save up to 5000 images of your own. You can easily open your own home website on Ning by looking up in the upper left corner of the webpage where it says:

Create Your Own Social Network

Don't worry~! It is easy.You can limit the pictures on it to your own.Then you will have your own URL that you can post on your AAW Profile 'MyPage".. [ I have seen many of you do not have your own webpage so this is a good FREE alternative for you~!'



It is very easy to open your own Ning social website. It is all pre-templated which makes it user friendly.

1. Look up at the upper left corner of this page to the TOP where it say:

Create Your Own Social Network and CLICK on it.

2. When it says to select a name for your network, add your name how you wish it to appear., such as Artworks of YOURNAME

3. Pick a URL address:YOUR.NAME.ning,com or YOUR.BUSINESS.ning.com [ I just used my business name[ avehurleyillustrations.ning.com] as I am known in Search Engines- so whatever you wish to be known as, since once it is in the Seach Engines, people can find you easier.



4. Click on Create Your Network now.

5.Once it is on, go into MANAGE your network. Browse the options buttons for the options you wish to have on your network.

"Appearance" allows you a choice of backgrounds to select from. "Features" allows you to set up the windows of the set up you want. You can play around with these and change them to what you would like to have.

"Your Network Information, allows you to write your own message to all who join.

"The Invite Button, allows you different ways to invite friends.

To allow or disallow others from posting their pictures, you can opt to have 'pictures must be approved' - which will protect your storage space, so that you can make it into your own gallery.

Friends could still post pictures on their own MYPAGE to include their slideshows etc without using your storage space. This also makes this into your own homepage for any use you choose.

Then POST your new URL onto your other Ning membership sites in your profile, which will allow others to know your website address..

Once you load your gallery pictures there, you can pick up the SLIDESHOW feature which will give you an embedded code under the 'share' option and you can post your slideshow anywhere that slideshows are enabled on any of your MyPage's of any Ning you join.

You then can copy that code right into your AAW webpage MyPage and all your pictures from your site will display on AAW without causing any overload..

This way we each can post up to 5000 images on AAW and the site will still be FREE and you can choose your favorites to submit to the AAW Gallery for rotation.

On this site as well, you can post your SLIDESHOWS here to embed on your AAW MyPage main website...and all other websites you join.This is FASTER THAN LOADING PICTURES individially~! You also can share up to 5000 pictures online this way!!!
